About Me
_JPG.jpg)
My career in mental health began in 2013, when I took a job working third shift at a local halfway house. I graduated from Winona State University in May 2016, with a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health and a certificate in Addiction Studies. Since then, it’s been my privilege to work in a variety of settings, in both clinical and supervisory roles.
I’ve also been fortunate in that time to train in a variety of evidence-based practices, including Mentalization-Based Treatment, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Schema Therapy. My research interests include common factors in psychotherapeutic action, emerging treatments for personality disorders, and accountability in clinical processes. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, kendo, and cooking.
